The Aspirational Challenge Rules

ORIGINAL RULES

Welcome to the rules page.

There is a small set of rules for each of the 5 challenges, 1 challenge for each aspiration. Once you have completed each of the 5 challenges, your scores can be posted. There will be a scoreboard for each or the challenges and an overall scoreboard which will be made upon the addition of all the points awarded in each challenge to the amount of aspirational points gained in the Fortune challenge. These will be updated to the site when scores start to come in.

 OPTIMISED RULES

For the family challenge, adopt as children instead of having babies. Then there is no waiting for pregnancy, the children can be further apart. Your adults can still have children in elderhood.

UNIVERSITY RULES

All teens can go to uni if they show the want to. You do not have to save the want, but they will need to have shown it once in their teens. If all your teens go to uni only one can return to be the heir. Due to the moving-in bug where 20,000 is added when the teen returns only the heir can return to the household. The other members of the family have to find their own house.

You cannot change their aspiration at the end of the semaphore year.

Work your way through the challenges in any order, but I recommend you complete the family challenge first. The order below is a recommended order to follow.

Family sims love big family networks. Keep them happy by giving them 'quality time' with family members.

The challenge is to have 6 children, naturally, in one lifetime. Create 2 family sims linked by marriage and let them have 6 children, without adoption. The challenge is complete when the last child becomes a teen. The children can have any aspiration, but if you are using this family to set yourself up for the other challenges your first male child will need the Romance Aspiration. Use the print outs to workout and record your score.

You can use the motherlode cheat only.

Fortune sims love money, and they don't care how they get it!. They also love to have a platinum aspiration meter, for them to live a full and happy life.

The challenge is to gain as many aspiration points as possible (including points spent). This challenge can be started as a toddler (e.g. during the family challenge) and is complete when your sim dies. But your sim must have a platinum grave for a successful completion of the challenge. Use the print outs to workout and record your score.

No cheating allowed

Knowledge sims want to know everything about anything and everything. They love to study and crave knowledge. Keep their aspiration meters platinum to keep them learning.

The challenge is to max out as many of the skills as possible. This challenge can be started as a toddler (e.g. during the family challenge) and is complete when your sim dies. But your sim must have a platinum grave for a successful completion of the challenge. You gain more points for the skills that are not needed for job progression. Use the print outs to workout and record your score.

No cheating allowed

Popularity sims need lots of friends to keep them happy. Give them good parties to keep the aspiration meters to a maximum.

The challenge is to keep as many best friends as possible. There is extra points available if you befriend a NPC. This challenge can be started at childhood (e.g. during the family challenge) and is complete when your sim dies. But your sim must have a platinum grave for a successful completion of the challenge. Use the print outs to workout and record your score.

No cheating allowed

Romance sims crave lots of love and attention from sims of the opposite sex. They love to be in love with more than one sim, but hate to get caught.

The challenge is to WooHoo with as many maids as possible. This challenge is played during adulthood and is complete when your sims becomes an elder. Use the print outs to workout and record your score.
