ORIGINAL RULES

Create a house that can house 8 sims.

               HINT: I created a house on a large lot, with 6 single beds and 1 double bed. I also provided them with 2 bath/shower combi's in one room and 6 cubicle toilets in another, a swimming pool and spa.

        DO ALL YOUR MODIFICATIONS TO THE HOUSE INC CONTENTS AT THIS STAGE AS YOU CAN NOT MODIFY YOUR HOUSE OR ADD CONTENTS ONCE THE CHALLENGE STARTED

OPTIMISED RULES

The rules are the same accept you start with 5 sims.

UNIVERSITY RULES

There is no uni rules as all of your sims are adults. Except you can use any of the new objects. If you started the challenge with sims2 only you can enter buy mode once only to add the new items.

Why not download the rule book?

CHEATS : First use the 'deleteallcharacters', so you get new NPC's in your new neighourhood. Turn 'aging off' because you don't want the to age while you are doing the challenge. Use 'motherlode' to finance your sims at the beginning of the challenge. Make a note of the amount your BB family have at the beginning of the challenge.

Create your sims using 'create-a-sim' or 'bodyshop' and fill their names into the progress sheet. Fill in their sex and ASP using the technique on the SETUP Page or use your own just make it random.

1 sim moves out each Friday (not the first friday), into the neighbourhood onto a small lot with a small house and a phone. (This sim will visit and phone so the relationship meter will keep up-to-date)

You cannot affect their relationships and skill building. You basically let them do what they want, but in some cases youwill find that you will have to help them out a little. When you first move them in, get one of them to hire a maid, so that the house will be looked after. You will also have to get them to order groceries, and pay the bills. Some sims will also need to be told to have a shower.

One major thing you will have to watch for is FIRE. The first time I played this challenge, I lost 4 sims due to fire, just after leaving my game running for 1 hour. After which I have started again. If your sims have a fire, let the fire brigade put it out and when your sims have calmed down, get one of your sims to serve out the burnt food and them cancel the action (so they don't eat it) and them get the sims to clean it up. This will prevent another fire. (I learnt this the hard way).

Pause the game at 6pm every Friday. On the progress sheet, record the housemate each sim has the lowest lifetime relationship with. This is their vote.

Count up the votes and the housemate with the most votes leaves, by the 'Find Own Place' option at the computer or newpaper, if you end up with two or more sims with the same number of votes, chose the most unpopular of the sims to evict. On Friday week 8, at 6pm, visit each of the 6 evicted housemates in turn and record on the progress sheet, which of the 2 remaining housemates they have the higher lifetime relationship with. The housemate with the least amount of votes is evicted and the winner inherits alot of cash and a large house. When you have completed the challenge, you will have a new neighbourhood to play with.

Name your winner, their sign and ASP. The amount they started with and the amount they won. And the amount of points your sims were rewarded. A form will be available soon for easy posting.
